For cabinetry, this would typically involve: * **Cosmetic Repairs and Touch-ups:** * Addressing minor scratches, dings, or scuffs on cabinet surfaces. * Filling small nail holes with wax sticks. * Touching up paint or stain on cabinets, trim, or surrounding walls that may have been affected during installation. * Adjusting or repairing minor surface scratches on countertops if applicable. * **Hardware Adjustments and Installation:** * Tightening loose drawer pulls, knobs, and hinges. * Adjusting cabinet doors and drawer fronts to ensure they are level, plumb, and close smoothly without sticking. * Installing any missing or incomplete door hardware packages, including door stops. * Ensuring all rollout shelves operate smoothly, don't tilt when extended, and are securely attached. * Checking that lazy Susans work smoothly and are securely anchored. * **Functionality Checks:** * Ensuring all cabinet doors and drawers open and close properly. * Verifying that adjustable shelves rest securely on shelf holders and no shelf holders are missing. * **Cleaning and Debris Removal:** * Thoroughly cleaning all cabinet surfaces, inside and out. * Removing any construction debris, dust, or protective coverings from the cabinetry and the surrounding work area. * **Addressing Minor Installation Issues:** * Re-caulking or re-grouting any areas around the cabinetry that require it (e.g., where cabinets meet walls or countertops). * Ensuring any necessary cutouts for appliances, sinks, etc., are clean and precise. * Confirming cabinets are securely attached, level, and plumb.
